Liaison with Events Manager and Design Team on design and deliverables for web-based event materials. (i.e. page design, banner ads, e-newsletters and e-blasts, websites, microsites, etc.)

Liaison with Events Manager and Design Team on design, printing and deliverables for all custom event materials. (i.e. logos, signage and promotion, invites, etc.)

Work with Marketing and Events Manager on in-house premium items (swag) to execute branding element, production and ensure timely delivery.

Direction and execution of corporate identity collateral. (i.e. logos, invitations, communications, etc.) in conjunction with Marketing, Business Development and Design Team.

Work in tandem with Marketing Coordinator with her design projects. (e.g. Slope Scoop )

Hire and manage contract creative as needed -- designers, photographers, illustrators, writers, and editors.

Traffic and facilitate invoices and contracts of all creative vendors with Marketing Manager.

Assist with print production and pre-press as needed.

Assist with uploading of magazine pages to our FTP site for download by production facility.

Assist with MSM collateral inventory (business cards, stationery, etc.)

Assist with year-end server back-up and cataloging.

Keep abreast of digital practices, developments and innovation within the snowsports industry, publishing and media, and our competitors.

Ability to take layered Photoshop files and turn them into web content using HTML, Java, Flash, etc.

Summary
The primary function of the Sign Shop Production Designer is to design various types of signs and apply graphics to various types of substrates.  Must meet deadlines and manage multiple projects to meet production due dates.  The Sign Shop Production Designer reports directly to the Shop Foreman.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
    * Follow and enforce all safety rules and regulations.
    * Ability to design standard road signs to specs and custom signs.  Quality control is critical.
          o Computer skills for operating graphics software.
          o Artistic skills for designing specialty graphics as required.
    * Apply graphics (vinyl. EC film) to various substrates (aluminum, plywood, plastic, banners).
    * Safely and efficiently operate plotters, printers, roll applicators as well as perform basic maintenance on equipment.
    * Ability to prioritize orders to keep an efficient work flow in all areas of sign shop.
    * Accurate completion of required daily production reports.  Time, BOM, quantities, to ensure accurate costs.
    * Adhere to Company Policies and Procedures.
    * Other duties as assigned.

Requirements Education and/or Experience

    * Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
