wriders@totalspeed.net

"Perfect! You and I can go back and forth 100 times and not really improve this rendition too much. I like it a lot."

That's an e-mail between two international Cadillac & LaSalle Club Inc. executives about my edit and rewrite of their new member marketing brochure. The invoice was $100 with 12-hour turnaround.

For them and every client, the goal is fast, crisp writing and editing that are dead-on to project requirements.

I learned to do that with 20+ years of daily newspaper deadline experience, 10+ years in Denver copy writing, and public relations and marketing relationships with numerous clients. These include university, health care, national men's fraternity, manufacturing, legal and nonprofit organizations.

Responsibilities include: Start-to-distribution of local and national newsletters, logo design, Web content, graphic design, book editing, press releases, business profiles, annual reports, campaign ads and more.

Providing customer satisfaction with award-winning communication for audiences of all ages and interests, simplifying technical content, creating demand for products and services, and crafting heartfelt feature articles that move readers.

Don't waste time and money on rewrites and repeated meetings. Get "Perfect!" the first time.

Technology convergence has been evolving for quite some time.  Dan Levine has been immersed in that evolution, having developed his career around online technology, marketing, and business branding.

Technology

Mr. Levine has had a long career in both the traditional publishing and online publishing worlds.  Having started two separate hosting businesses while at AT&T and managed two others at Register.com, he is well versed with all aspects of Internet Hosting, Business Continuity, and online applications.  His Project Management skills and experience have allowed him to create and lead dynamic and energized teams and is known for his follow through in completing projects on time.

Marketing

The design and creation of websites has also been part of Mr. Levine's expertise.  With the eye of an artist and photographer and experience with online Marketing, he also understands the intricacies of creating, testing, and analyzing campaigns designed to bring about brand awareness and brand excitement.

Project Management

With a strong technical AND graphics backgrounds, he has been instrumental in the start up and life cycle of numerous Internet and eCommerce businesses for both Fortune 500 and "under 50" companies.  This required the ability to not only lead and motivate, but to understand all aspects of a project and maintain timelines and accomplishments — and to ensure all had a sense of pride (and fun) with their work.

As a proven professional, my extensive background in marketing and event planning has included a variety of functions including fundraising, staging promotional events, grass-roots marketing, budget planning, media communications and volunteer/intern management.  My experience includes proven success in directing, managing and streamlining large organizations. Please note my expertise and success in the following:

Turning a No into a Yes. Charged with arranging the Opening Day Ceremonies for a local AAA baseball stadium that included the coordination of a "fly-by" with 4 Air Force F-16 military jets. When the local FAA director denied permission for the fly-by, contacted the office of President Clinton's Transportation Secretary who in turn connected us with the Regional FAA Director in Atlanta. Described the situation to him, explaining that this was a high-profile event.
Results. The previous refusal was overturned and the fly by was approved; this created a spectacular opening day ceremony.

Promoting Fundraising. Charged with advancing corporate donors for the 1999 US Women's Open Golf Championship. Arranged the sale of skyboxes for corporate sponsors at the tournament's 16th green. Promptly sold out of allotted spots but negotiated with the owner of the golf course and USGA officials to permit a few more additional skyboxes.
Results. Due to my persistent efforts, exceeded planned fundraising by $100,000.

The variety and depth of my experience combined with my energy and dedication will add immeasurable value to your organization.  I hold strong interpersonal skills, am very flexible and a team player.  I am also available to travel and work long hours when needed.
