Center for Women’s Health Research – Univ. of Colorado

The Center for Women’s Health Research (CWHR) at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus invests in and conducts groundbreaking research in women’s health and sex differences with a focus on cardiovascular diseases and diabetes. Given that research on women’s health was largely not included in studies until the 1990s and has been historically underfunded, the CWHR is dedicated to funding the next generation of women’s health research and mentoring young scientists while educating the community at large.
