City of Ouray

Situated in the heart of the San Juan Mountains in southwest Colorado, Ouray is known as the Switzerland of America. Its rich history dates back to 1876 when the City was incorporated on October 2, two months after Colorado became a state. Ouray is coming up on her 150th birthday in 2026!
