• 2+ years’ marketing or advertising agency and database marketing experience
  • Above average problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Superior computer skills including MS Office Suite, especially a proficiency with Excel
  • Ability to process large datasets using Excel, Access, Alteryx or other BI tools
  • Experience in financial and/or retail marketing preferred
  • Strong project management skills and experience
  • Experience in digital marketing, with an emphasis on email
  • Experience in direct marketing with a keen understanding of marketing data and ability to analyze and interpret data in support of direct marketing strategy development, program implementation and evaluation/back-end analysis

  • Managing ad-hoc data requests that deviate widely from the routine or require a “soups to nuts” approach to solve, answering questions, and providing basic technical support and analysis
  • Function as project owner on data projects assigned by Data Team Leader

The Account & Data Coordinator works with the VP of Account Management and Account Manager and is responsible for coordinating projects inside and outside the agency in the absence of account management staff members. The Account & Data Coordinator stays abreast of client account needs and status and “covers” for the account management staff when they are unavailable.

· Assist the account teams in managing campaigns and projects from conception through completion. Types and complexity of projects vary and may include direct mail, surveys, polls, email, landing pages, social (Facebook, Twitter, etc.), collateral, training materials. 

· Maintain files on assigned clients including: correspondence, approvals, copy, forms/documents; production quotes/purchase orders; project assets and brand standards; and competitor and industry information.

· Work closely w/account managers to monitor account/project status, process and profitability.

· Work closely w/ account management to create and issue vendor purchase orders, prepare project estimates, and prepare final billing for each project.

· Manage sub-projects or portions of a project, keeping the necessary individuals abreast of status.

· Responsible for handling traffic responsibilities including opening jobs, developing schedules and estimates.  This will include scheduling staff and resources.

· Receives client briefings and fills out Client Contact Reports for specific client meetings and distributes to appropriate agency personnel.

· Serve as the primary internal client liaison in the absence of the account management staff members.

· Assist the account management staff in working with traffic, creative, production, consulting and sales teams.

· Conduct research, collect competitor and industry information, provide input and make recommendations to the account team for assigned clients.

· Manage administrative activities for assigned clients, including handling mail/packages, creating conference reports, preparing correspondence, and other administrative duties as assigned or requested by clients.

·      Basic client file manipulation, including sorting/suppressing data for mailing/deployment using Access, Excel and Alteryx and documenting data processing instructions
