Hunger Free Colorado’s executive team is looking for an Administrative Assistant who is a master communicator, a discreet diplomat, a juggler, and a believer in a place for everything and everything in its place. This role ensures the efficient and smooth day-to-day operations of our office.
Work Environment
• Professional office environment
• Flexible work schedule decided on at time of hire
• Extensive daily use of office equipment including keyboards, monitors, printers and copiers
• Sitting for long periods of time, may involve lifting materials and equipment up to 25 pounds

Areas of Responsibility

• Organize and schedule executive appointments and calendars
• Plan meetings and record detailed minutes
• Act as Staff Secretary to the Board of Directors and fulfill board requests
• Analyze, respond to and write email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
• Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
• Develop and maintain a filing system
• Update and maintain office policies and procedures
• Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
• Maintain contact lists
• Book travel arrangements
• Submit and reconcile expense reports
• Provide general support to visitors
• Answer and direct phone calls
• Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
• Handle requests and queries from executive staff
