Job Summary:

Serve as main point person for resort advertising and paid media. Primary resort contact for design and media agencies. Key member and integral part of marketing operations team. Proficient with media planning, fulfillment, analysis and reporting. The ideal candidate must be detail oriented, analytical and highly organized. Must want to be part of a dynamic team, have the ability to work independently and be able to take direction in a positive, motivated, forward-thinking, fast-paced environment. Manages all aspects of collateral development and fulfillment from concept to printing for major and minor resort collateral pieces through design agency.

Day to day management of external agencies for both media placement and design, including media buying, are critical components of this role. This position will work with third parties to create, design and implement media promotions, evaluate promotion pitches. Furthermore, the Media Manager will engage with CBMR management team on media-related communications, analysis reporting, proofing ads, and team awareness. Seeking to continually maximize the CBMR media spend, in accordance for positive ROI, is imperative. This position requires extremely effective communication skills with external agencies and internal departments in order for a successful information flow pertaining to CBMR marketing initiatives. Furthermore, well-developed relationship building skills, experience with media buying, negotiation abilities, and enthusiasm to be part of a strong and successful ski resort marketing team is vital.

Strong knowledge of Print, Digital, Broadcast and Out of Home (OOH) media is required along with three years experience with media planning and buying in traditional and digital media channels. Must be able to maintain a schedule of flexibility during weather-related events. Willingness to help and assist operating departments during peak and holiday times is critical. Eye for design and brand adherence necessary, but graphic design skills are NOT required. Experiential knowledge of snow sports and mountain biking to be able to effectively communicate message to core audiences required.

Essential Job Functions:
•Day to day management of external agencies for media placement and design.
•Coordinate all communication with and between external agencies for media placement and design.
•Key member and integral part of marketing operations team.
•Structure, review, analyze and evaluate media proposals to make marketing dollar go further.
•Provide timely analysis of advertising effectiveness, ROI.
•Consult with reservations team on message, details of offer, manage approvals.
•Manage and fulfill media contra accounts, determine breakage value on use.
•Manage advertising/media budget, purchase orders and invoicing.
•Coordinate traditional and digital media buys and fulfillment with strategic partners, vendors.
•Engage with CBMR management team on media-related communications, analysis reporting, proofing ads, team awareness.
•Coordinate and communicate advertising schedules and specs with all parties involved, internally and externally; working predominantly with VP Marketing & Sales on print/radio initiatives and Senior Marketing Manager on digital initiatives/reporting.
•Work with third parties to create, design and implement media promotions, evaluate promotion pitches.
•Responsible for maximizing media mix, bridging segmentation gap between print and digital channels.
•Responsible for brand standards management internally and externally.
•Occasionally writes web and broadcast copy; coordinates with social media team on promotions and events.
•Oversees contracts for brochure distribution.
•Knowledge of the Denver, CO Media Market desired.
•Additional marketing team tasks/duties as needed.

Job Requirements
•College Degree, Bachelor of Science/ Bachelor of Arts 4 year degree in related field.
•MANDATORY: 3 years experience planning and buying in multi-media platforms.
•Proficient in MS Office Suite software, particularly MS Excel.
•3 Years in media buying on client or agency side.
•Supervisory experience over a staff of 2 minimum.
•Spanish helpful for International advertising in Mexico/ South America.
•Must be able to have flexibility in work schedule, including working on some holidays, evenings and weekends.
