Jewish Family Service (JFS) is seeking a special individual who will be responsible for the overall coordination and management of SHALOM’s Arts and Activities Program and Supported Community Connecting services. This person will supervise and monitor staff performance and quality of services to ensure individuals served receive expected outcomes.

JFS is a 144-year-old nationally recognized agency dedicated to providing vital services to a diverse population in need in the metropolitan Denver area. We help seniors age in place, provide quality mental health counseling to individuals and families, offer training and job placement to people with developmental disabilities, and provide food and financial assistance to people in crisis. Areas of Responsibility

Key Responsibilities:
Monitor client outcomes and quality services provided as identified by interdisciplinary team. Develop ISSPs, monitor data collection and progress towards goals.
Liaison to families, residential providers, advocates and funding agencies

Requirements/Qualifications

  • BA/BS Degree in Recreational Therapy, or MA in human services field
  • 2-4 years' experience working in DD field and various age groups, including seniors
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Valid driver's license
