Join the team at BOCO Gear, a Boulder-based, four-year old, rapidly growing manufacturer of custom headwear and other accessories, selling to some of the biggest names in the triathlon/running/ultra business. Team is small, semi-virtual, and staunchly anti-bureaucratic.  

We have an immediate need for an early-career customer service/sales/operations pro who knows both sales/customer service and the world of endurance sports. Given our small size and rapid growth, we’re going to be hard-core about vetting the following required qualifications:

  • 0-3 years sales/customer service/operations experience

  • Attention to detail

  • College degree

  • Flexibility

  • Ability to communicate effectively on the phone and via email

  • Knowledge of (and preferably participation in) endurance sports

  • Attention to detail — we listed it twice, because it’s that important

Responsibilities Include

  • Order entry and tracking

  • Invoicing and follow-up

  • Sending and tracking sales samples

  • Communicating with factories, outside sales reps, customers

  • Processing payments, invoices, etc.

  • Running weekly/monthly sales and other operations reports

  • Tracking shipments from our overseas factories and associated freight costs

  • Sending orders to production team and/or factories

  • Other things we’re likely to have forgotten

Position is full-time, evaluation-to-hire, with semi-flexible hours.  Pay DOE.  Location for first 1-2 months will be company HQ (a residence in Gunbarrel), with some flexibility and a good chance of being in an actual office sometime in the next 3-6 months.
