General Description of Employer
The Colorado Rural Health Center (CRHC) is a nonprofit organization that serves as the State Office of Rural Health. CRHC’s mission is to enhance healthcare services in Colorado by providing information education, linkages, tools and energy toward addressing rural healthcare issues.

Position Summary
The Director of Business Development reports to the Chief Executive Officer and is a part of the leadership team and is responsible for management, oversight and success of business development and outreach programs, including activities that lead to increased public awareness needs, grants, public relations, communications, and business development. This position manages all aspects of CRHC’s membership constituency and is responsible for planning and organizing events and/or meetings for the organization and business development, including Health Information Technology (HIT) services, group purchasing and other fee-for-service. The Director of Business Development works with the Chief Executive Officer and others on the CRHC team to strategize, plan, and implement effective special events to educate our constituents, increase awareness of rural health issues, market, track and develop fee-for-service and promote the Colorado Rural Health Center.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s degree preferred and five years of related experience
  • Minimum five years management experience

Compensation/Benefits

Exempt position. Salary will be based on skills, education, and experience. CRHC’s full benefits package will apply. Relocation assistance is not available.
