What you will do 

We are looking for a Marketing Manager with a blend of strategy, technical, creative, analytic, and project management expertise to lead and contribute to projects that support all departments within Vangst, as well as drive revenue growth.  Reporting directly to our VP of Growth, the Marketing Manager will ensure that sales and advertising deliver impactful results for our clients in the form of engagement across all our audiences.

This high-impact role serves as a conduit between sales, marketing and product. The ideal candidate will be a highly-motivated team player and a strong, outgoing, cross-functional leader who can demonstrate the impact of solutions they propose in order to build consensus and coordinate efforts.  The ideal candidate can perform under tight deadlines and unexpected changes in direction and priorities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Develop and execute B2B and B2C marketing strategy across all channels, including email, digital, social, content, and events.

  • Work with our Founder, CFO, and VP of Growth to create a marketing budget for each department.  

  • Lead and ensure consistency in the messaging, branding, content, and look-and-feel of all internal and external B2B and B2C communications and marketing materials.

  • Manage both internal and external resources to effectively execute the marketing plan.

    • Manage current and future outsourced vendors (currently working with a PR agency) to ensure their efforts fit in with our overall marketing strategy and business goals.

    • Manage current in-house marketing team (content / social media associate, events manager).

  • Implement and control project schedules and budgets.

What you’ll need to be successful in this role 

  • 3-5 years experience in a marketing manager role, preferably at an agency or with creative teams.

  • Can handle both strategy and execution of lead generation and operations.

  • Proven track record managing marketing and lead gen campaigns with measurable ROI.

  • Strong analytical skills including experience reviewing results of campaigns, analyzing marketing and product funnels, identifying revenue impact of marketing campaigns and opportunities, and using data to make strategic recommendations for future actions.

  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and strong attention to detail.
