PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for all JA program materials including maintenance of storage room, inventory and delivery using various delivery methods (courier, USPS, UPS)
  • Prepare JA materials for delivery including running database queries, creating program schedules and maintaining copies of needed paperwork
  • General receptionist duties such as greeting visitors, answering the JA main phone, conference room scheduling, meeting set up and take down, mail sorting and kitchen maintenance
  • General administrative support, such as data entry and conducting volunteer background checks
  • Performs other related duties as needed

REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate’s degree and a minimum of two years of work experience or Bachelor’s degree.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, intermediate knowledge of Excel preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent customer service, both internal and external
  • Excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail
  • Desire to be part of an energetic environment that values results and teamwork
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds

DESIRABLES

  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Experience within the field of education
