Job Description: 

The Programs Associate ensures that visitors to the CELL exhibit have an engaging educational experience by providing critical database and administrative support and assisting with events and programs. Please submit a resume and cover letter to apply.

Areas of Responsibility
  • Supports the coordination and implementation of community and school programs to successful completion by processing registration requests, coordinating booking logistics, tracking invoices, and preparing/organizing supplies and materials
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate Salesforce database records for community and school programs by overseeing and implementing a range of data collection, entry, and interpretation. Duties include but are not limited to: entering registrant lists, creating payment records, creating new organizations and contacts, creating tour and program records, pulling marketing and outreach lists, and building reports for auditing
  • Provides front desk support to the CELL exhibit, processing point of sale transactions and answering questions about the CELL’s mission and programs
  • Supports CELL and Mizel Institute major events through outreach, materials preparation, day of support, and other duties as needed
  • Ensures a positive visitor experience from entry all the way through the exhibit with a clean and functional exhibit, a professional appearance, and courteous, engaging customer service
Requirements/Qualifications
  • Experience with database systems strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Outstanding customer service attitude
  • Comfortable working with a wide range of community groups—from students and teachers to high-level executives and law enforcement officials
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Outstanding writing, presentation, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, professional environment a plus
  • Highly motivated, positive, flexible, and proactive team player is a must
  • Must be able to lift at least 20 pounds on an occasional basis and up to 10 pounds frequently
Compensation/Benefits

Salary is commensurate with experience. The Programs Associate position is full-time. Some weekends and evenings will be required for assistance staffing CELL programs.
