Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute global internal communications strategy and programs to influence culture, support employee engagement and build connectivity to the business.
  • Develop strategy to effectively communicate and drive employee acceptance and understanding of strategic initiatives.
  • Provide communication support to the CEO and Chief of Staff
  • Establish and maintain relationships with leaders, and implement proactive internal communications in support of company announcements and initiatives.
  • Align internal communications with business goals.
  • Align internal communications with external communications.
  • Work closely with parent company on specific change initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent and effective communication approach and cascade protocols.
  • Ensure that all communications initiatives are aligned with the company brand identity and successfully delivered via appropriate communications channels.
  • Ensure consistent execution of company announcements and employee communications by providing support for content development, editing, production and dissemination.
  • Tactically manage communications to support new client wins.
  • Leverage innovative technologies to achieve communications goals.
  • Develop and maintain fresh, innovative and useful digital content, including associate videos, newsletters, infographics and testimonials.
  • Drive internal communications plans around large scale internal corporate happenings.
  • Provide leadership and guidance on key internal meetings, including company and parent company Town Halls, leadership meetings, etc.
  • Keep key sections of ReedGroup intranet current and maintained (home page, company news, etc.).
  • Maintains specific Outlook distribution lists and mailboxes as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or related field or equivalent business experience
  • Minimum of 6 years of increasingly responsible experience leading communications
  • Highly organized with expertise in building and managing complex communication programs across geographically diverse areas
  • Very strong communication skills (one-on-one, writing/editing skills, presentation skills)
  • Highly articulate with a polished professional presence
  • Excellent written, oral and presentation skills, as well as strong technological skills.
  • Operates in a way that never compromises ethics and integrity, non-political in all dealings with agendas that are above board and understood by all
  • Manages time effectively with superior planning and organization skills
  • Self-starter and proven team player capable of prioritizing work and problems simultaneously
  • Comfortable working in a high-energy, quickly changing and demanding environment
  • Demonstrated success in driving projects from initiation to completion
  • Previous experience managing multiple complex, multi-component priorities
  • Demonstrated success managing shifting priorities with limited resources
