SUMMARY

The Senior Graphic Designer will design and execute visual concepts and ideas that represent the highest global standards of the Crocs brand. This position requires the development of overall creative layout and production design for both consumer facing and internal corporate brand initiatives. Reporting directly to the Art Director, this role collaborates with numerous channels and departments within the organization to fulfill the client’s creative needs and to proactively participate in the elevation of Crocs creative team.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Design/Creative

  • Develop print marketing materials that elevate and accurately reflect brand positioning

  • Maintain, support and elevate global brand standards

  • Portfolio must include in-store retail POS and POP expertise

  • Present and communicate ideas, concepts and constructive criticism properly and purposefully

  • Partner with internal channels to identify project parameters and fulfill creative needs

  • Collaborate with creative team on design and creative innovation for brand elevation

  • Work closely with print vendors on print specifications to ensure quality control

  • Maintain advanced knowledge of creative software (includes Adobe Creative Suite) and market trends

  • Understand seasonal product calendar for marketing workflow

  • Possess initiative to volunteer, support and assist creative team when necessary

Production

  • Review final versions, printed proofs, identify corrections or revisions, and obtain client approvals

  • Prepare and package final, high-quality files for print projects

  • Maintain an advanced level of meticulous and organizational skills especially with large volume projects

  • Partner with translators to provide global regions accurate and successful marketing materials

  • Deliver client files effectively, quickly and within approved deadlines

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of design experience in a fast paced, creative environment

  • Expert level competencies within Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign

  • Experience in apparel/footwear preferred

  • Must be organized and able to maintain project, artwork and photography naming conventions

  • Portfolio must include in-store POS, trade show, and POP expertise

  • Portfolio must demonstrate best-of-breed creative/design capabilities

  • Must be a willing communicator and collaborator

  • Must maintain a professional and creative atmosphere within the creative and marketing teams

  • Must be flexible and able to accept and apply necessary critique and feedback
