The mission of ACPL is to enhance the quality of life in Albany County by offering access to a diverse collection of materials, being a key partner in education, and offering community-based programs through its professional and friendly staff. Although we have limited county funding, our services are greatly enhanced by volunteers and financial support from the Friends of ACPL and the ACPL Foundation. “Laradise” has a thriving downtown and many recreational and entertainment opportunities. Hear great music, see a wide variety of art, and eat great food at local restaurants. Our community is enriched by the University of Wyoming. Go Cowboys! Just an hour away from Fort Collins, Colorado, Laramie is nestled between the Snowy Range and Pole Mountain, areas abundant with trails, lakes, campgrounds, ski areas and climbing routes.
