The Office of Climate Preparedness

The Office of Climate Preparedness was created after the Marshall Fire to provide a proactive, coordinated and focused approach to better understand and prepare the state for the impacts of climate change at the Governor’s Office level and continually improve the state’s disaster recovery policies and processes. The Office of Climate Preparedness and Disaster Recovery is housed within the Governor’s Office.

Climate Preparedness Manager

This position will project manage implementation and long-term updating of the state’s climate preparedness risk-evaluation and roadmap, promoting a proactive, forward-looking and state government-wide approach to climate adaptation and readiness consistent with the Office’s and roadmap’s initiating legislation SB22-206.
