Alternatives to Violence Project (AVP) Colorado

ABOUT US: The Alternatives to Violence Project (AVP) Colorado is the Centennial State's chapter of a national nonprofit organization, AVP-USA, that was established in the wake of Attica prison riots to help curb violence in prisons. Through experiential workshops, we help build a sense of community and empower people who are incarcerated -- as well as participants from the outside -- learn new communication skills and resolve conflicts in creative, peaceful ways.
