Benefits in Action
Benefits in Action is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting our diverse community with a focus on the elderly and underserved, to improve their understanding, access, and utilization of food and health-related benefits to enhance food security, health, and well-being. In 2023, Benefits in Action provided services to more than 14,000 individuals by assisting them with Medicaid, Medicare, Connect for Health, SNAP, food delivery, and issues related to social isolation. Volunteers are an integral part of our organization.

Manager, Donor Relations
The Manager, Donor Relations, advancing the organization’s relationships with benefactors to provide a positive experience, enhance donor retention, and facilitate future giving. The individual will develop and manage donor inquiries and provide timely support to donors; act as the primary liaison between Benefits in Action and donors to identify requirements for incoming gifts; and assist with critical data management, data gathering, analytical thinking, and process improvements.
Financial Coach/Counselor – SE Colorado
The Financial Coach/Counselor is a trained professional that will partner with clients in a thought provoking and creative process to inspire them to maximize their potential. The end goal is to help clients get unstuck in realizing their dreams and goals. The role is primarily forward-looking and is oriented on solutions and capacity for change.
Benefit Navigator II
The Benefits Navigator II will connect with consumers from the larger community in the Benefits in Action office, at a satellite location, virtually, or via community representation and presentations. The objective will be to provide direct service to those clients in need of navigation, education, and/or application assistance for SNAP, Medicaid, CCAP, or other community/government programs.
