Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center

The mission of BOEC is to expand the potential of people with disabilities and special needs through meaningful, educational and inspiring outdoor experiences. The focus of the Adaptive Ski and Ride Program is to provide the very best in adaptive ski/snowboard instruction in an empowering and supportive environment where the personal growth of the participant is top priority. The Ski Program operates at Breckenridge and Keystone Ski Resorts, with occasional lessons delivered at other resorts, and delivers over 3,300 adaptive ski and snowboard lessons each season, both day lessons and multi-day camps. The Ski Program budget is approx. $640K, roughly half of the BOEC program budget. Lessons are conducted by a mix of professional staff, volunteers and interns.
