Nearly thirty years ago, the first Bridge of Hope began serving homeless single mothers and their children in Pennsylvania. The tremendous success of the organization led numerous other communities to establish their own local Bridge of Hope chapter.
In 2014, Bridge of Hope Greater Denver conducted a needs assessment of homelessness in the Denver area and discovered that many homeless families, once housed, found it difficult to remain self-sufficient due to a lack of continued support, thus illuminating an opportunity for the unique Bridge of Hope approach. In response to the growing number of homeless families in and around Denver, Bridge of Hope Greater Denver was founded in 2014 and welcomed our first family in 2016. We have served over 35 families since then. In 2022, Bridge of Hope served 28 families.
