Clear Creek County is located about 20 miles west of Denver in the Rocky Mountains along Interstate 70. There are 396 square miles of recreational fun with elevations ranging from 6,880 feet, to peaks higher than 14,000 feet. There are hiking,and biking trails, four wheel drive trails for fishing, camping and many other outdoor activities. In the winter months there are places for snow shoeing, cross country skiing, and there is downhill skiing and snowboarding at Loveland and Echo Mountain ski areas. Clear Creek County provides an excellent mountain rural living environment with easy access to the Denver metropolitan area. Public Lands Manager

Under the general direction of the Deputy County Manager, the Public Lands Manager directs administrative and supervisory work to conserve, maintain, and enhance the resources and assets that are part of Clear Creek County Open Space and other public lands.

County Manager

The County Manager serves as the Chief Executive Officer for Clear Creek County, providing visionary leadership and operational oversight across all County functions. Reporting directly to the Board of County Commissioners, the Manager ensures the alignment of County services with the Board’s strategic goals and the needs of staff, residents, businesses, and visitors.
