Colorado Credit Union

Our story began in 1973 when about 35 Johns Manville employees gathered their funds together and started our credit union, as a member-owned financial cooperative. We grew rapidly over the years, serving only employees, retirees and family members of Johns Manville. In 1998, we expanded our membership to include other employer groups and associations, enabling us to continue our growth and help more people with their finances. In 2005, we changed our name from Johns Manville Credit Union to "Colorado Credit Union," to better reflect our diverse membership. We continue to be the bank of choice for a majority of Johns Manville employees and retirees; as well as thousands of other people across the communities we serve. In 2009, we merged Brighton Federal Credit Union into CCU; allowing us to become part of the Brighton Community and surrounding areas. We proudly serve the 27J teachers and students, the City of Brighton, Platte Valley Medical Center and several large area churches as well. In 2014, we merged Englewood Federal Credit Union into CCU; and we proudly serve the City of Englewood employees and the surrounding community. Many things have changed since 1973, but our commitment to you and your financial wellbeing has been unwavering. You'll only deal with real people at CCU. Real people answer our phones, evaluate your financial needs and recommend solutions that make sense. We offer a full array of financial services, and you can expect a smile.
