Accountant II – Benefits

This accounting position is responsible for preparing journal entries and completing reconciliations relating to member and employer contributions, benefit payments, internal payroll, and healthcare items. This position works under the supervision of the Assistant Accounting Manager - Benefits.

Accountant I – Accounts Receivable

The Accounting I - AR position is responsible for the maintenance and record-keeping of financial transactions in accordance with established policies and procedures. Responsibilities include accounts receivable, posting and reconciling transactions, analyzing and verifying payments, and preparing journal entries. This position is under the supervision of the Assistant Accounting Manager - Benefits.

General Counsel

The General Counsel (GC) position, part of the Executive Leadership Team, is responsible for implementing, maintaining and protecting the Association’s legal posture and interests within the scope established by Colorado Statute, PERA’s Board of Trustees, and the Association’s CEO.

Chief Audit Executive

This position, part of the Executive Leadership team, is responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive, independent assessment on the adequacy and effectiveness of governance, risk management, and control processes for Colorado PERA. Responsible for conducting audits and advisory services in accordance with the Internal Audit Charter, which is approved by the Audit Committee of the Board of Trustees.
