Cookie Factory Denver

Opening in May 2025, Cookie Factory is a pioneering platform for contemporary art and cultural exchange, transforming a 1940s fortune cookie factory in Denver’s historic Baker neighborhood into a dynamic public arts space. Dedicated to fostering creativity and dialogue, Cookie Factory collaborates with internationally renowned artists to create new, site-specific works inspired by Denver and Colorado’s landscapes and cultural fabric.

Founded by Amanda J. Precourt, in collaboration with artist Andrew Jensdotter and preeminent artistic director and curator Jérôme Sans, Cookie Factory is designed to push the boundaries of creative expression, spark critical conversation, and cultivate meaningful community engagement. The institution hosts two solo exhibitions annually, featuring ambitious projects across its interior galleries, a dedicated video viewing room, and an outdoor sculpture garden. The inaugural exhibition, opening May 24, 2025, will feature a site-specific installation by acclaimed artist Sam Falls, showcasing new paintings and sculptures inspired by the Rocky Mountains.

At its core, Cookie Factory places home and community at the center of its philosophy, offering a new model for an arts institution embedded within the residential fabric of Denver’s Baker neighborhood. The museum is housed in the lower level of a building, with the private residence of the Executive Director and Director of Exhibitions located above. Alongside its bi-annual exhibitions, Cookie Factory hosts artist talks, guided tours, and special events designed to invigorate Denver’s cultural landscape.
