Effect Communications was established in 1997 as Cause Communications. We sold the name in 2008. So yes, we've gone from Cause to Effect. 

That's also what we offer your organization: taking whatever cause you're hoping to promote and, through persuasive communications, producing the effect you intend. 

We are communications professionals with years of experience. We're also committed to working with the kinds of organizations we support. 

We have developed a number of specialties over the years. Higher education and public policy research and writing, political communications and issue advocacy are our most frequently requested services. 

Our journalism project involves two online resources: 

• BigMedia.org is a blog with media critique posts and media related news content from the Colorado media market. The site also holds a curated archive of transcribed interviews with Colorado elected officials and political newsmakers. 
• ColoradoTimesRecorder.com is an online news outlet covering the Colorado political landscape with original reporting by our staff and submissions from readers and other news outlets. Our news site helps fill the information gap created by the declining number of news outlets and reporters in Colorado. We cover statewide stories as well as local news coming out of Denver, Colorado Springs, Boulder, Fort Collins, Grand Junction, Durango, and more.Our work is fair, honest, and fact-checked, and has a progressive orientation.
