Nathan Yip Foundation

The Nathan Yip Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that transforms the lives of children through long-term, direct educational support with an emphasis in rural communities of China and Colorado.

We believe everyone should have access to education. Rural communities are often forgotten and their schools are in serious need. It's our mission to provide educational support to underserved students and teachers. By improving educational resources, increasing confidence in a successful future, and instilling a sense of empowerment and ownership, we can make a lasting impact on these communities.

While education is widely regarded as a universal language, we recognize that rural communities face unique issues. Therefore, in the rural communities we serve throughout Colorado and China, we take the time to understand the people, languages, cultures, and challenges that shape the landscape. By collaborating with local communities, we share ownership of our projects to ensure a sustainable and enduring impact.

We provide direct support through our many education-focused projects including building schools, training teachers, providing scholarship funds, books, school supplies, and curriculum, and funding various capital projects addressing students' basic needs.
