You will help work with the Boards and Commission team to help oversee the appointment process for over 330+ boards, commissions, task forces, and committees across the state that are appointed by the Governor. Help make recommendations to the Governor and Chief of Staff on who should be appointed after robust vetting and recruitment processes.
Director of Boards and Commissions
The Director serves as the primary liaison between the Governor’s Office, executive branch agencies, legislative leadership, board members, and community stakeholders regarding appointments, confirmations, and board operations. This role requires exceptional leadership, political acumen, relationship management skills, and the ability to navigate complex and high-profile appointment processes with professionalism and discretion.
