Reamy Consulting Group was born in 2014 out of the realization that while nonprofits face a litany of unique challenges that are out of their control—policy gaps, underfunding, changing political landscapes, etc.—there was one area in which orgs did have control: building a great team.
Our team understands that building a great team isn’t simply creating a job title—chief of people and culture, say, or education director—attaching it to a standard job description, and then plugging it in with someone whose resume closely mirrors that description. Rather, in order for people to succeed at doing the hard work of social change, they have to be in a role in which their skills and values are a match for the challenges and opportunities that come with any given organization’s unique context and culture.
