Tennyson has transformed the lives of children wrestling with mental illness as well as abused, neglected, abandoned, and traumatized kids for over 100 years. We have helped these children heal and reintegrate back into safe families, schools, and broader Colorado society.
We are proud of our impact and history, but we are not satisfied. As such, Tennyson is pivoting to not only continue to deliver tremendous care to Colorado kids but to also lead the way to a total reimagining of how the child welfare sector operates so that we, collectively, can help all Colorado kids thrive and heal in ways not imagined until now.

Director of Philanthropy
The Director of Philanthropy leads Tennyson Center for Children’s fundraising and development efforts. This position reports to the Chief Development & Marketing Officer, works closely with the Director of Development Operations & Manager of Marketing & Communications to ensure the department exceeds revenue and growth goals, supervises the Events Manager, Community Engagement Coordinator and contract grant manager.
