The Native American Rights Fund

Since 1970, the Native American Rights Fund (NARF) has provided legal assistance to Indian tribes, organizations, and individuals nationwide who might otherwise have gone without adequate representation. NARF has successfully asserted and defended the most important rights of Indians and tribes in hundreds of major cases, and has achieved significant results in such critical areas as tribal sovereignty, treaty rights, natural resource protection, and Indian education. NARF is a non-profit 501c(3) organization that focuses on applying existing laws and treaties to guarantee that national and state governments live up to their legal obligations.

The Assistant Director of Communications supports the Director of Communications in managing external communications, developing strategies, and overseeing content creation across multiple platforms. This position manages a team of communication professionals to ensure that editorial calendar deadlines are met and that all published content furthers the Native American Rights Fund’s (NARF’s) mission and goals and meets the organization’s high-quality standards.

Media Relations and Storytelling Manager

The Media Relations and Storytelling Manager is responsible for bringing the Native American Rights Fund’s (NARF’s) mission and work to life through bold, accessible, and culturally relevant message development and storytelling that makes issues feel personal and resonant for NARF’s audiences.
