Walking Mountains Science Center is a nonprofit, place-based, educational organization reaching over 127,000 youth and adults annually. Our mission is to awaken a sense of wonder and inspire environmental stewardship and sustainability through natural science education. A key organizational objective is to ensure our mission is fulfilled by having the right people in the right positions, performing at optimal levels in all departments. This includes effective leadership, ongoing development of staff culture, empowering individuals and teams towards leadership, and ongoing performance and accountability measures.

Director of Development
The Director manages and deepens relationships across an assigned portfolio of individual donors, family foundations, and major corporate donors to build the pipeline of future mid-level and major donors as well as identifies and cultivates new prospects, helping to strengthen the organization’s overall pipeline of philanthropic support.
Development Operations and Database Manager
The Development Operations & Database Manager is a member of the Walking Mountains Development Team who reports to the Director of Development.
