Facilities & Preservation Manager

The Colorado Chautauqua Association (CCA) is a 501 (c) (3) Colorado nonprofit corporation, with a mission to preserve, perpetuate and improve the site and spirit of the historic Chautauqua by enhancing its community and values through cultural, educational, social and recreational experiences.

Located at the base of Boulder’s Flatirons and one of only 25 National Historic Landmarks in the state of Colorado, the Colorado Chautauqua is one of only a few remaining chautauquas in the U.S. It is considered THE western representation of the cultural movement that swept the U.S. in the late 19th and early 20th centuries and is the only site west of the Mississippi that has been in continuous operation since its founding and with its original structures intact and used for their original purposes. CCA provides lodging, programming and venues for private events in the historic Chautauqua buildings and grounds.

General Description
The Facilities Manager is a full-time, benefited, exempt position. The person assuming this role is a hands-on, working manager responsible for coordinating, supervising and implementing a variety of skilled repair and maintenance tasks on all historic cottages, venues, and administrative buildings within the Colorado Chautauqua leasehold. The Facilities Manager works closely with Hospitality and Public Events teams in coordinating maintenance and repairs, manages vendor contracts and relationships, and is responsible for a variety of administrative tasks related to facilities maintenance. Evening, weekend and holiday work is required in meeting position responsibilities.

PR & Social Media Manager

The PR and Social Media Manager will proactively pitch and reactively respond to press inquiries to further the awareness and popularity of the restaurants. The candidate must have strong writing skills and be savvy with digital and social media tools to post content daily. This role will nurture relationships with local and national press as well as social media influencers (including bloggers, and Yelp elite). The primary responsibility is to increase awareness and number of daily guests to all restaurant concepts within The Kitchen Restaurant Group. The PR and Social Media Manager will report to the CEO and will work directly with the Brand Manager for each restaurant concept. This person will also work closely with the Communications Director at the Office of Kimbal Musk to brainstorm and execute media advisories and strategies.

Senior Accountant

This position will be best filled by a qualified accountant who thrives in a fast paced, intimate environment in tandem with an actively growing, evolving business. Outside of everyday accounting responsibilities, this person will actively contribute to the fluidity of our team by refining our processes and implementing new ones. The ideal candidate must have proven accounting experience, preferably with a global business. Strong systems experience, outside of Quickbooks and preferably on Microsoft Navision, is also desired. The senior accountant will have the ability to perform day to day financial tasks as well as have experience with month end analysis and reporting for management. Our Senior Accountant works out of the North Boulder Office and reports directly to the President of the Company; we will consider local candidates only to fill this position.

Marketing Coordinator/Manager

As the marketer for Shambhala Publications (and our imprints Snow Lion and Bala Kids), your mission will be to broaden the reach and recognition of our brand by building and executing awareness campaigns on the web, in person, and in print.

Director of Volunteers

The Director of Volunteers oversees all volunteer programs for the “I Have A Dream” Foundation of Boulder County. Supervises AmeriCorps, volunteer department staff, spearheads outreach and recruitment initiatives, monitors the effectiveness of recruiting and retaining volunteers, and develops community partnerships. Recruits, interviews, trains, and places tutors and mentors. Provides ongoing problem solving, coaching, training, volunteer recognition, and group activities. Creates outreach materials, and contributes to newsletter, social media, etc. Establishes and maintains recordkeeping systems for volunteers and other community partners.

Administrative Assistant

The Boulder County Board of Commissioners’ Office is hiring an Administrative Assistant. The Administrative Assistant will provide support to the Board of County Commissioners, department managers, and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. The ideal candidate is someone who is creative, has excellent time management skills, and maintains high ethical standards when handling sensitive information.

The Board of County Commissioners is comprised of three individuals elected to serve four-year terms as leaders of the Boulder County government. The staff in the Commissioners’ Office manages the daily business of the Commissioners.

This is a full-time, benefited position with Boulder County. Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:30 to 4:30 pm. The Administrative Assistant will work out of Boulder, CO. Under FLSA guidelines, this position is exempt from overtime.
