The Brighton Fire Rescue District is seeking an Administrative Manager to join its management team. The Fire District provides emergency response (fire, rescue, medical, hazardous materials, and technical rescue),  fire code enforcement, and public education to an area of 150 square miles in Adams and Weld County. Position Summary

The Administrative Manager’s primary duty is the management and efficient operation of the District's Administration Division, including day-to-day supervision of the Administration Division's operations and personnel; coordinating all human resources activities; coordinating benefits; coordinating related activities within the Administration Division and activities that interrelate with other Divisions; and, providing responsible, confidential, analytical and technical support to the Fire Chief and other management staff.

Candidate Qualifications

A valid Colorado's drivers license within 30 days of employment

A degree in human resources, management, or related field

Five years of progressive experience in administration, human resources, or a related field

Three years of experience in a supervisory position

Proficient in various computer software applications including Microsoft Office

Preferred experience in the public sector


Position Salary Range $60,000 to $76,000
