Description
The Bar and Hospitality Coordinator is a seasonal role supporting bar operations and artist hospitality of Levitt Pavilion Denver during the concert season. This role ensures the venue’s concessions are clean, welcoming and appropriately staffed, maintains sufficient inventory and equipment, and supports artist hospitality needs.
This position requires strong team leadership and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments and venue areas. The position runs from May to mid-October, for the duration of the concert season. A management stipend of $300 per week is provided (including a mid-season break), and the Bar and Hospitality Coordinator may work additional shifts clocking in as a Bar Lead.
Core Responsibilities
Bar Management

Manage all aspects of the venue’s bar, including inventory tracking, product ordering, and ensuring adequate stock for events.

Oversee bar staff scheduling to ensure proper coverage for all events.

Work with Directors to manage HR and personnel situations within the bar and hospitality teams.

Implement and enforce responsible alcohol service practices, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Track bar sales and inventory, working with Business Ops Manager and Director of Venue Operations on tracking/reporting, reconciliation and overall budget management.

Ensure guests receive prompt, friendly, and attentive service in alignment with the venue’s commitment to exceptional customer service.

Support on-site food truck operations including setup and closing, working closely with Director of Venue Operations and Business Operations Manager on tracking and settlements

Work with Director of Venue Operations and sponsorship team to fulfill sponsorship requirements related to bar and concessions, including specialty product, signage and activations.
Artist Hospitality and Green Room Management

Coordinate planning, shopping and ordering artist hospitality and green room setup needs.

Work with Production Manager to delegate day of show hospitality, artist relations and runner duties as needed.

Maintain green room, bar and general hospitality/concessions supplies.

Delegate among bar staff for green room cleanup and closing duties following each concert.
Additional Duties and Expectations
Each member of the Levitt Pavilion Denver team is required to uphold the Levitt mission and code of conduct, represent the organization positively at all times, and contribute to a company culture of respect, transparency, and collaboration. Regular attendance at all-staff and applicable meetings, clear and consistent communication, and appropriate use of Levitt tools and systems is expected.
As a growing non-profit organization and live concert venue, Levitt Pavilion expects flexibility and accountability from all team members. Nights and weekends will be required during the concert season, and additional duties may be assigned based on operational needs.

Training, Support, and Accountability

As a seasonal role, the Bar and Hospitality Coordinator will be provided with general onboarding and job-specific training, and regular supervisor check-ins and communication throughout the season.

Performance reviews, including opportunites to provide upward feedback, take place mid- and post-season, along with discussion of goals and professional development.

Mutual accountability is a priority across the organization, including deadlines, program outcomes, planning sessions, goal-setting, and feedback.
