A busy, growing marketing and digital agency is looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team to help develop new business and grow the agency. The Business Development Manager will be directly responsible for the generation and development of new business opportunities. The successful candidate will be a skilled and credible sales and/or business development professional selling marketing and digital services.


  • Prospect, develop, maintain and grow revenue-generating relationships with new business opportunities
  • Establish a well-organized, methodical sales process to meet quarterly revenue goals
  • Assist in driving increased revenue to align with the agency’s strategic growth plan
  • Attend networking and industry events to further expand prospect network 
  • Travel when necessary to meet clients in person, at conferences, and client meetings throughout the US
  • Establish and maintain agency CRM in determined industry verticals
  • Create and maintain lead nurturing plan


  • Ideal sales candidate will be highly disciplined and have a strong work ethic
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed revenue goals
  • Must be able to sell marketing services and websites as well as SEM and PPC campaigns
  • Experience in G-Suite
  • Past marketing or digital agency experience a plus
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience
  • Demonstrated strategic, consultative and analytical sales approach with focus on building partnerships with clients
  • Driven, self-starter who is able to execute and deliver without day-to-day management
  • Resourceful with a sharp business sense
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
  • Positive attitude and team oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • College degree required
