The Business Development Manager will expand MomCo’s reach by starting new groups across the United States. Scope: By cultivating inbound leads and outbound prospects, the Business Development Manager will passionately assist churches, para-churches, organizations and mom leaders to start meetups in their communities. They will seek to meet and exceed goals.

Status: Non-Exempt
Hours:  40 hours/week
Location:  Remote

Overview: As a Business Development Manager, you'll help pastors, ministry leaders, and women across the country launch communities where moms experience friendship, belonging, and faith. You'll cultivate relationships, identify new opportunities, and guide leaders from first conversation to successful launch. This role is equal parts ministry, business development, and relationship building. You'll thrive if you love meaningful conversations, are energized by ambitious goals, and enjoy helping people turn vision into reality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Build New Partnerships

  • Develop relationships with churches, ministry leaders, nonprofit organizations, and community leaders.
  • Cultivate both inbound inquiries and outbound opportunities.
  • Guide prospective leaders through the process of launching a MomCo group.
  • Clearly communicate the value and impact of MomCo.

Drive Growth

  • Meet and exceed monthly new group goals.
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline through consistent prospecting and follow-up.
  • Implement lead generation strategies alongside the Business Development team.
  • Confidently navigate objections and help leaders overcome barriers to launching.

Create an Outstanding Experience

  • Respond promptly to prospective leaders.
  • Build trusted relationships that reflect MomCo's mission and values.
  • Ensure every interaction leaves people encouraged, informed, and excited.

Collaborate

  • Maintain accurate CRM records.
  • Participate in team planning and strategy meetings.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Follower of Jesus and able to faithfully sign and uphold the MomCo Faith and Values Statement.
  • The ideal candidate has deep experience with sales, excels at lead generation, relationship building, and deal closing.
  • Occasional travel and representation at conferences, trade shows, and speaking events may be required.
  • Strong work ethic with experience in Sales (or ministry development) and Leadership.
  • Professional demeanor on phone and in person.
  • B2B (business to business) sales experience.
  • Tenacity and ability to take initiative in a goal-oriented sales environment.
  • Ability to overcome objections, problem solve, and drive process forward.
  • High level of integrity, strong spiritual character, and leadership. 
  • High level of efficiency in workflow and attention to detail.
  • Computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and One Note.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Highly motivated and disciplined self-starter.
  • Winsome.
  • Demonstrated ability to positively affect measurable outcomes and maintain relationship capital.

PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS

  • Maintenance of accurate and updated CRM data.
  • Quality and effectiveness of communication with current and potential churches and leaders.
  • Maintain efficient workflow and a high level of productivity while maintaining excellent relationships.
  • Meet or exceed new ministry goals.
  • Meet or exceed 180 minimum contacts per week, of which 85 must include phone calls.

Compensation
Annual salary range: $52 to $58k depending on experience
