Job Description: 

We are looking for a highly organized  and caring Coordinator. You love organizing small and large events, develop social media strategies, engage volunteers,  and share our impact stories. You're comfortable in an environment where you have to juggle many simultaneous tasks, be able to accomplish more in four hours than most people accomplish in a day, and pay close attention to detail in order to ensure that the community we work with receives the best help possible. Self-starters and fast learners with passion for saving lives are encourage to apply and we will train you to be successful in your position.

You will be given space for creativity, professional growth and developing new skills such as digital marketing, project management, donor cultivation, and strategic communications. We are a small, innovative nonprofit with lofty goals and lifesaving programs – creativity, kindness, team effort, impressive downtown views, free kombucha/gym  contribute to our  unique work environment. 

Areas of Responsibility

Your primary duties will be in the following areas: Volunteer & Donor Engagement, Event Management, Intern Management, Communications/Digital Marketing, including social and website updates, Admin tasks as needed. 

 

Demonstrated organizational planning skills and ability to work independently.  Must be self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision and have excellent interpersonal, organizational, communications and networking skills. Occasional weekend and evening assignments related to events.

Requirements/Qualifications
  • • Bachelor’s Degree required. • Minimum three years professional administrative experience preferably in nonprofit • Social media savvy; MS Office proficiency . • Word Press; Constant Contact experience is required
Compensation/Benefits

Full-time position  (we have some flexibility with your schedule to work between 30-38 hours per week)

Salary:  $19-23/hour, depending on experience
