DaVita Kidney Care is looking for a communications manager to support its internal communications team. DaVita’s Village Communications team oversees all of the communications channels that target the company’s more than 60,000 teammates in the United States.

Key duties include the following:

  • Work with departments across the DaVita Village to help write, distribute and manage the pipeline of direct communications to teammates. This duty will require a strong knowledge of multiple email-distribution platforms, as well as a critical eye on database segmentation and management.
  • Manage village relationships to help Village partners and lanes define their communications strategy, content and cadence.
  • Internal channel oversight and strategy that may include content strategy and distribution for the company intranet, mobile platforms, blogs and more.
  • Drive for engagement across channels by using analytics and data to define communications strategy.
  • Managing and maximizing the effectiveness of the Village Communications Steering Committee, a group comprising representatives from numerous departments across the Village. The goal of this committee is to collaborate on communications solutions designed to increase teammate engagement via Village Communications vehicles.
  • Project management of internal campaigns, content and reporting

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 

  • Content development and management for Village Communications
  • Managing projects for various high-level, high-exposure internal campaigns
  • Maintaining the integrity of planning, execution, communications, course correction and metrics for special projects.
  • Proactively researching, testing and delivering campaigns to support internal projects/initiatives.
  • Writing/editing internal message posts (emails, intranet, etc.).
  • Oversee metrics/analytics reporting for all emails sent from Village Communications.
  • Working closely with Village Communications teammates on communications thought leadership topics/solutions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 5-7 years in communications – corporate or agency experience
  • Degree in communications, journalism, project management, marketing or other related program.
  • Strong and demonstrable written and verbal communications skills.
  • Proficient at editing, reporting and project management.
  • Analytical skills strongly preferred.
  • Ability to take initiative, plan, prioritize and execute, independently, the completion of all projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to deliver with accuracy, integrity and attention to detail within established deadlines.
  • Effective in communicating with all levels of management, executives and outside vendors.
  • Knowledge of AP style a plus but not required.
  • Social media skills, script writing and video editing abilities a plus.
  • Adept at Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PhotoShop, CMS (i.e., SharePoint) and Outlook.
