Description
The Communications Manager manages the execution of communications and marketing plans for the Town of Silverthorne while adhering to brand standards and department budgets to meet Town goals. This position supervises the employees and functions of the communications team.
Hiring Range is: $84,000 to $95,200
Full Pay Range is: $84,000 to $112,000

Position Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5 years of experience in communications and marketing or related field.
- 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, business, or related field.
- Advanced written and verbal Spanish communication skills.
- Advanced skills with Adobe Creative Suite.
- Familiarity with AP Style.
- Familiarity with HTML.
- 5 years of experience with social media management, website development and management, and email marketing.
- 5 years of experience negotiating and managing contracts with vendors and agencies.
- A valid Colorado driver’s license.
