Support corporate objectives by utilizing organizational skills, initiative, and specialized knowledge of marketing communications to assist in providing effective advertising, communications, collateral, and publication development for Rocky Mountain Health Plans.
Primary Responsibilities: 
  • Develop quality publications as assigned, assuring accuracy of information and consistency of brand.
  • Utilize creative and feature writing skills to assist in the development of a variety of company communications to a varied audience, including advertising copy, annual reports, employee communication, Member communication, newsletters, sales collateral, press releases, and web content.
  • Utilize creative and design skills to assists with the design, layout, and production of company and department collateral.
  • Utilizing excellent organizational skills to support the implementation of department initiatives, coordinate with outside vendors for deliverables, and report on projects as needed to meet department and corporate goals.
  • Work with various departments to research and gather information that ensures accurate understanding and the best possible promotion of the product or benefit described in corporate communications.
  • Conduct review and proof reading of design, copy, graphics, messaging, and photography of all communications developed within the department. Ensure key stakeholders have reviewed and given final approval.
  • Apply advanced organizational skills, initiative, and technical expertise in completing assignments.
  • Understand scope and impact of department projects.
Required Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree or higher
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Outlook for emailing, Word for editing, Excel for sorting) required and ability to utilize desktop publishing skills, graphic design and layout software
  • Demonstrated ability to administratively manage projects 
Preferred Qualifications: 
  • 2+ years of experience writing and developing marketing collateral
  • Knowledge of Healthcare Industry 
Soft Skills: 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with proven ability to craft a concise message to targeted audiences
  • Strong editing and proofreading skills 
  • Strong design and creative skills 
  • Ability to respond effectively to short notice demands and to manage multiple priorities with strict deadlines
  • Detail orientation and initiative to ensure all communications are accurate and consistent with brand
  • Professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and collaborative working relationships
