Who we are looking for:
The content marketing communications manager is responsible for leading the Optiv services campaign content development. They will manage and create derivative assets including, but not limited to emails, digital ads, blog copy, social posts, internal communications, and power point presentations. They will work cross-functionally with the digital marketing, demand generation, graphic designers, and solutions marketing teams to ensure a seamless campaign launch that expresses a consistent Optiv brand voice, message, and imagery. They will proof and edit existing content or create content from a core message document or brief for a variety of technical and business decision-making audiences.
The manager should be passionate, creative, and very organized. They will need to have a thirst for learning technology acumen as they will be working on content for various levels of technical buyers. They will be writing/reviewing/editing, managing, promoting and measuring/reporting the value of the effectiveness of the content. The manager will report to the Sr. Director of Solutions Marketing and Content Strategy.
The successful candidate must be proactive with excellent project management skills and strong relationship management and writing skills. They must be able to work independently – from marketing campaign management to organize and rationalize priorities and timelines internally to evolving innovative ways to deliver engaging content. Must have the ability to orchestrate many moving parts under an aggressive schedule.
How you’ll make an impact:
Content creation and development of Optiv service solutions
Ensure requests are properly submitted through Work Front and taxonomy tagged appropriately
Maintain an inventory report to identify content gaps
Project manage each campaign to ensure timelines are met and work is excellent quality
Work cross-functionally with the creative design team, demand generation, digital marketing, and solutions marketing management team
Edit, review, and proof content before it is delivered in-market
Review content performance and adjust based on feedback
Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in technology marketing and marketing communications
Must have B2B marketing experience
Must have a minimum of a Bachelor degree
Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to create content from a briefing document
Must understand buyer journey differences in writing compelling marketing and sales enablement content
Must be a great communicator in breaking down technical services into an interesting and compelling “must-read” for different B2B audiences
Must have strong cross-functional management skills with demonstrated experience
Strong organizational skills with a proven track record or managing multiple projects in a highly matrixed environment
Must have excellent project management skills
Must be able to work independently
Must be able to maintain and manage to timelines
Must be results oriented and dedicated to providing high-quality work
Must have experience writing, creating, and editing for different types of communication medium (Traditional, digital, social, etc.)
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word
Familiarity in using Workfront, Drupal, and Marketo a plus
