Essential Functions:

This position will engage in the development and execution of content for a variety of channels and audiences, including:


Social media and blogs

Digital and email marketing campaigns

Tradeshows, presentations, special events, luncheons

White papers, Ebooks, instructional documents

Videos, images, and other multimedia deliverables

Case studies and collateral

Sales support materials


This is a functional manager role responsible for planning, shepherding, and, most importantly, executing compelling content. Candidates must be comfortable working within a collaborative team and with employees and contractors in remote locations.


6+ years in marketing communications


A powerhouse writer, editor, and content creator who:

  • Can take and repurpose content for a variety of audiences and deliverables.

  • Knows the difference between a style guide and a grammar manual, and can spot a double space after periods from a mile away.

  • Can translate complex and technical concepts into engaging, digestible content.

  • Is familiar with producing and managing multimedia deliverables such as images, videos/vlogs, podcasts, top-quality presentations, and webinars.

  • Can manage multiple projects and adjust priorities to meet business needs, while maintaining a strong attention to detail.

  • Is a team player and can cultivate relationships with subject matter experts, corporate leadership, and customers to gather the building blocks for projects.

  • Is hardworking, creative, curious, and a quick learner.

  • Displays a willingness to grow professionally and seeks out opportunities to improve.

  • Sees a problem not as roadblock but as an exciting puzzle to be solved.



Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Liberal Arts, Marketing, or related area of study.


  • Strong writer/editor and communicator with expert-level English usage, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word) and Adobe Acrobat.

  • Experience leveraging SEO/SEM in key messaging.

  • Experience with WordPress or similar web content management systems.

  • Experience managing multiple social media channels and developing unique messaging for each.

  • An understanding of the principles of visual design.


  • Experience with video editing software

  • Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Lightroom)

  • or other CRM Systems

  • HubSpot, Pardot, or other marketing automation systems

  • Experience in the electronic monitoring/criminal justice industry or experience marketing to government agencies.

  • Experience with software marketing.
