Assist and coordinate Noodles Research and Development daily functions. This will include cross-function project support with Supply Management, QA, Training and Project Management.
Help support supply chain savings initiatives, RFPs and other contingency objectives resulting in culinary matching projects.
Support culinary cuttings including planning, ingredient procurement and facilitation.
Support the nutritional database for continuous menu updates, market tests and LTOs.
Manage the test kitchen, keeping track of inventories and cleaning schedule.
Supports commercializing scale- ups and product reviews.
Ability to effectively communicate and work with external partner.
Conduct cook studies for new and existing equipment.
Keep departmental trackers up to date and organized.
Assists with public relations and on- air cooking demos.
Effective time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
Ability to multi-task in an organized manner with a high degree of attention to detail. ?
Working knowledge of Mac Pages and Microsoft Office programs and ability to learn/manage inventory management systems (ERS). ?
Familiarity with ESHA Genesis Nutritional software.
Minimal travel supporting commercialization projects.
Degree in related field required.
Minimum 2 to 3 years restaurant kitchen experience.
Adaptable to fluid or changing priorities.
