We are looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience building awesome email marketing campaigns through strategy, marketing analytics and working with in-house creative. Your primary responsibilities will include email campaign planning, set-up, execution and analysis. Additionally, your analytics skills will create weekly ecommerce dashboards across email, paid media, and ecommerce.

You’ll also be in charge of daily maintenance of our web store – from product merchandising and inventory management, to our employee store and customer loyalty program. We are looking for that unique person with email marketing chops, as well as an insatiable desire to grow his or her skills across all areas of digital marketing.

Some fun parts of the job:

  • Work with Creative, Social and Digital Marketing teams to design and execute a cohesive email marketing strategy.
  • Optimize the customer experience through product merchandising and inventory management. 
  • Maintain ecommerce analytics dashboards, and provide insights and action items that will improve the customer experience and drive online sales.
  • Review digital marketing campaigns and provide performance metrics for the optimization of digital assets across Paid Social, Display and other channels.
  • Weekly updates to our Sphero blog.

We like all our applicants, but having these skills will help you succeed in the role:

  • 3+ years of digital marketing experience, preferably in consumer products (B2C).
  • Proven record of developing and executing email marketing campaigns in SailThru, Responsys, ExactTarget, Bronto, SendGrid or a similar ESP.
  • A working knowledge of HTML/CSS with an emphasis on Email Templating
  • Experience analyzing web and digital marketing metrics. Google Analytics experience is required.
  • General knowledge of Paid Search, Paid Social, Display, and SEO and the important KPIs related to these areas.
  • You are creative, pushing for what could be done not just following the leader.
  • You are self-motivated – you love to just get things done!
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Shopify or other ecommerce platform experience preferred, but not required.
