Position Summary:

As a key member of AMG’s Business Development & Marketing team, the Digital Marketing Specialist will be someone who thrives on making a business impact primarily by driving visitors to AMG’s corporate website, managing its content, improving UX and engagement, and generating leads through complex, multi-component organic and paid media campaigns.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Managing and improving AMG’s corporate website and other digital assets, e.g., design, content, plugins, integrations, web hosting
  • Analyzing data, e.g., developing and interpreting dashboards/reports on website and campaign performance to make data-driven business decisions
  • Increasing website traffic, e.g., developing and implementing strategies to improve SEO for organic local search, social media engagement, and paid media (PPC) campaign performance
  • Increasing lead conversion rates, e.g., developing and implementing strategies to build online newsletter subscriber list and to improve landing pages and CTAs to convert leads from organic and paid campaigns

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; information technology, business, marketing, advertising, communications or related degree preferred
  • 3+ years demonstrated technical experience managing websites for desktop and mobile
  • Demonstrated experience with WordPress, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Google Ads
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Dynamics, ClickDimensions, Microsoft Power BI, and subscriptions management with RSS feeds a plus
  • Demonstrated experience with digital marketing tactics that support organic and paid media campaigns, e.g., SEO, SEM, PPC, placed advertising, PR
  • Demonstrated experience measuring and interpreting data
  • Experience in financial services or a highly regulated industry a plus

 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Strong technical knowledge of back-end website management and front-end content management
  • Highly creative in devising digital marketing campaigns that engage, inform, and convert to new business leads

Responsibilities:

Website Management & Measurement

  • Manage AMG’s website and its platform of related tools
  • Lead improvements to organic search by applying SEO expertise, e.g., schema, meta descriptions, alt tags, on-page content optimization, link building, optimizing GMBs, improving site speed and mobile responsiveness
  • Leverage data-driven insights to improve website traffic, visitor engagement, and lead conversion
  • Stay abreast of new developments and industry changes in organic search and digital content marketing and translate those into actionable recommendations

Organic and Paid Digital Marketing

  • Lead execution of organic social media and email marketing campaigns by working with team members on compelling creative and suggesting data-driven ways to improve engagement and lead conversion
  • Lead execution of paid campaigns (PPC), demonstrating skill in keyword and audience targeting and A/B testing to drive desired results and optimize ad budget

Strategy

  • Be the digital marketing expert within AMG and provide expertise to further client retention, brand recognition, new visitor engagement, and lead conversion
  • Translate the firm’s marketing objectives into high-impact organic and paid media strategies that drive website traffic, visitor engagement, and lead conversion
  • Develop, implement, and continuously evolve best-in-class digital marketing strategies in a cost-effective manner

Content Creation & Management

  • Develop successful visitor experiences
  • Test and optimize content for maximum relevancy and accessibility across key channels such as websites, LinkedIn, mobile, search, and email; and across key customer journeys ranging from acquisition through onboarding to cross-selling
  • Ensure content compliance with legal, compliance, privacy, risk and brand guidelines
  • Ensure editorial standards and guidelines are met across digital platforms
