About Our Job
The Director of Marketing will report directly to the Vice President of Marketing, Avalanche. This position will create and execute new programs and platforms that increase the Avalanche’s relevancy beyond Pepsi Center and drive consistent fan engagement. The person in this role will act as liaison to KSE departments, notably Partnership Marketing, to facilitate cross-functional efficiencies within marketing programs, and will help develop and lead marketing team staff and manage department workflows.
Job responsibilities will include:
•Collaborate across the organization to build, manage and execute year-long promotional, events, sponsorship, and community involvement calendar.
•Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to inspire new fandom and further develop current fandom.
•Find innovative ways to connect with target audiences as well as the broader community.
•Coordinate the idealization and execution of new marketing campaigns and platforms.
•Increase brand awareness and reach across multiple outlets, events, and initiatives.
•Foster key partnerships with stakeholders both internally and externally, including local businesses, fan groups, and more.
•Lead and develop team members, specifically Marketing Coordinator, Events & Promotions.
•Additional responsibilities as assigned.

•A proven leader, and dynamic project manager
•Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
•Project Management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at once

•Education Requirement – Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Journalism, Communications or a similar field.
