Summary

The Director of Membership Engagement has primary responsibility for the recruitment of new members, membership retention efforts, and connecting chamber members with appropriate and rewarding opportunities for engagement. This role also leads the planning and execution of key chamber events, manages certain affinity groups, and leverages sales skills to generate financial support for chamber activities and programs.

Required Qualifications

Extraordinary organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, exceed goals, and meet deadlines. In other words, someone who terrifies disorganized people.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. A great customer service personality and mindset.
CRM database experience. Do you know Growth Zone or Chamber Master? Even better.
Demonstrated event planning experience.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a small, collaborative team.
