Employer Brand / Recruitment Marketing Manager:  Become the Newest Member of the VF Family

 

VF aspires to be the employer of choice in our industry by becoming a Purpose-driven company that attracts and develops the best talent.  As a member of VF’s Global Talent Acquisition team, you will contribute directly to this goal by developing and implementing our marketing strategy to attract the best talent across multiple platforms and channels, and will co-lead/lead optimization of the candidate experience.  As a primary steward of our employment brand, you'll be responsible for building and shaping VF’s employer reputation and externally communicating our employee value proposition (EVP) worldwide via compelling experiences and campaigns.  You’ll also co-lead/lead high visibility projects and create processes that deliver a best-in-class candidate experience and showcase VF as an employer of choice.  You’ll act as a brand ambassador in the employer marketplace, telling the story of VF and showing candidates what it’s really like to work somewhere that embraces the lifestyles and produces the products they already love.

 

How You Will Make a Difference:

  • Marketing
    • Build, track, and measure strategic campaigns that tell a unified brand story and differentiate VF as one of the top places to work – the right messages to the right people at the right place, at the right time
    • Create and execute compelling enterprise-wide recruitment marketing strategy and tactics across all relevant channels and geographies with an emphasis on digital
    • Develop and execute a digital strategy that infuses VF’s employment brand into its existing social media strategies, to include VF careers websites
    • Effectively balance VF’s corporate brand, consumer brands, and employer brand
    • Engage and manage supplier/external partner ecosystem

 

  • Collaboration & Relationship Building
    • Collaboratively partner with Corporate Affairs, Communications, Talent Acquisition/HR, consumer Brand Marketing teams and more; ensuring the Employment Brand is appropriately synced to overall VF corporate and consumer brand positioning and business needs

 

  • Insights & Analytics / Innovation
    • Craft a data story:  partner with our analytics team to provide meaningful insights on candidate/talent behavior, translating successes and failures into tactics – continuously monitor and optimize ROI
    • Stay up with external leading trends and lead insights to enhance/create stand-out candidate experiences to inform broader TA best practices
    • Continuously identify innovative approaches to differentiate VF as the employer of choice in our industry

 

  • EVP Development & Activation
    • Participate in the development of VF’s global EVP and subsequently manage/co-manage planning and execution of brand and marketing efforts to support activation
    • Play a key role in empowering and enabling employees, recruiters and business leaders to share their VF/brand stories with prospective VF talent across all relevant channels
    • Enable Talent Acquisition
    • Enable TA team with content and toolkits that foster better candidate engagement and experiences – content should be easily sharable via email, social, text, etc.

 

  • Candidate Experience
  • Be the evangelist for the candidate experience, continuously helping to drive a candidate centric approach and improving the candidate journey – all candidates are current or potential VF consumers

Qualifications:
 

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 7+ years marketing/public relations/communications or similar experience – with at least 3 of those years in recruitment marketing / employer branding
  • Previous experience in a large (ex. Fortune 500), global, highly-matrixed environment – experience in “house of brands” is strongly preferred
  • Excellent understanding of social and digital media platforms, including their respective strengths and audiences
  • Experience creating, implementing and executing marketing initiatives that produce engaging, emotional and brand relevant recruiting content
  • Demonstrated ability to use data analysis, benchmarking and other user testing to make sound content decisions
  • Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrate project/program management skill

DESIRED:

  • Industry experience in: “The Outdoors”, Apparel, Footwear, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), other Consumer Products/Services, Retail…products/services significantly driven by the quality of one’s consumer brand
  • Experience as a recruiter/talent scout – including sourcing passive candidates through networking, internal referrals, LinkedIn, SEO/SEM optimization and job posting practices
