Supports student organizations, OCA, and Student Life in the execution of campus programming, creating and managing the social media presence of OCA, developing and executing marketing strategies for the OCA programming efforts. Helps to foster community among students.

Anticipated Salary Range: $22.30 to $26.75 per hour

Responsibilities:
Oversee the student organization event process that includes but is not limited to scheduling meetings with students and staff, correspondence with students organizations, budgeting and financial information, and helping students learn the event planning and registration process. Serve as the point of contact and coordinator for the Student Event Summit.

Supervise, recruit, and hire OCA student internship positions.

Collaborate with the OCA team on student training for student organization leaders, programming and events, updating of the OCA website, and OCA initiatives.

Provide staffing support and assistance to evening and weekend student life, student organization, and campus activities programming.

Manage and devise marketing and promotional strategies for OCA events, programs, and promotion of OCA to include oversight of the OCA social media accounts, marketing materials, and create a more accessible website for students, faculty, and staff to use.

Additional Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent experience plus a minimum of three years of related experience; proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, ability to operate standard office equipment; excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and develop positive relationships with people from different cultural backgrounds; proficient in spelling, punctuation, grammar, and basic business math; good judgment and ability to handle confidential/sensitive information with discretion; excellent organizational and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
